Large Sycamore Tree

Description

A substantial Sycamore tree with the size and spreading canopy you'd expect from a mature specimen. At 350mm tall and 300mm wide, it's ideally suited to O Gauge (7mm scale) layouts, while also providing an impressive full-sized tree for OO Gauge modellers with enough scenic space.

Sycamores are a familiar sight across Britain, where their ability to thrive in exposed and difficult conditions has helped them become established in towns and cities as well as the countryside. Mature trees develop broad, rounded crowns and can become a dominant feature in the landscape.

This makes the model particularly useful for parks, station approaches, roadsides, gardens and field boundaries, as well as woodland and lineside scenery. Its size also makes it a natural choice where you want a tree to frame a scene or provide some genuine height behind buildings and railway structures.

The figures shown in our photographs are 7mm scale (O Gauge) models to give an indication of size. Additional photographs show how the tree can also work with 1:35 scale models.
