Large Copper Beech

Description

Add a distinctive splash of colour to your layout with this impressive Copper Beech tree. At 350mm tall with a broad 300mm canopy, it's ideally suited to O Gauge (7mm scale) layouts, but will also work beautifully in OO Gauge where there's room for a genuinely full-sized tree.

Copper Beech is a cultivated form of the familiar European Beech, instantly recognisable by its deep purple-bronze foliage. Mature examples are commonly found in parks, large gardens, estates, churchyards and alongside older buildings, making this a particularly good choice for creating a strong focal point in a model scene.

Its broad canopy works well beside a country house, at the edge of a village, in parkland or as a substantial specimen tree that's clearly been part of the landscape for many years.
