Ash Tree
Ash is the fourth commonest tree species in Britain and is sometimes the dominant tree in a wood.

Tall and graceful, they often grow together, forming a domed canopy. The bark is pale brown to grey and fissures as the tree ages.

A member of the Oleaceae family it is found across Europe from the Arctic Circle to Turkey.
